OUR STORY

Rangoli is a family-owned, design-led bath linen company based in Panipat, India — the textile heartland of the country. Since 1993, we’ve been crafting products that millions of Indian families have welcomed into their homes, and that our customers lovingly call “affordable luxury.”
We’re not the biggest. We’re not a giant integrated mill with thousands of looms. But that’s never been our ambition.
Our ambition has always been simpler: to bring thoughtful design and honest quality to everyday bath linen — whether it carries the Rangoli name or yours.

Where It All Started

In 1993, Mr. Pawan Saraf and his brother, the late Mr. Pramod Saraf, started Rangoli as a small weaving unit in Kundli, Sonipat with 36 shuttle looms. Together, they laid the foundation of what would become a trusted household name — learning the craft, understanding the weave, and building a business on the values of honesty and hard work. Though Mr. Pramod Saraf is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the company he helped build. The values the two brothers instilled — quality, integrity, and care for the customer — remain at the heart of everything we do today.

A New Chapter

In 2010, the second generation stepped in — and with it came a transformation.
Building on the foundation laid by Mr. Pawan Saraf and the late Mr. Pramod Saraf, we shifted our focus from being just manufacturers to becoming a design-led brand. We invested in capabilities that let us add value: embroidery, printing, digital sublimation, laser cutting, and expert finishing. We opened our doors to direct exports and built relationships with partners across Russia, the Middle East, and beyond.
Most importantly, we started building Rangoli — not just as a business, but as a brand that Indian families trust.
